ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Ling and I am the founder of Astral Healing Inc.
For as long as I remember I never felt like I belong. Growing up I would gravitate towards philosophy books in an attempt to find the answers I have been searching for. "Who am I? Why am I here?" My earliest existential experience was when I was 5 years old and I just had the innate sense of knowing that this physical experience I am embodied in is an illusion of sorts.
I embarked on a spiritual self-discovery path in 2011 after a bout of existential crisis that led me to sign up for a 10 Day Vipassana meditation camp. For 10 days, I was completely cut off from the world in noble silence and did nothing but meditate. It was then that I realized what a "monkey mind" I had! During the 10 days, I experienced more peace than I ever did in my entire life. Since then I have learned to incorporate mindfulness into my everyday activities. Of course, the Universe continued to throw curveballs to test my resilience. It was the comfort of meditation that guided me through.

It wasn't until 2018 that I had the opportunity to deepen my spiritual journey. I came across the concept of animal communication in a bid to support my dog Astro through a congenital bone disorder so rare that none of the Vets we went to were able to provide a diagnosis. Astro had to undergo multiple exploratory procedures to save his hind legs from amputation within a short one year period. It got to a point where there were very limited options left and I was despondent from the lack of encouragement and support from the people around me. Everyone thought I was crazy for going through such lengths to save a dog; sacrificing time, energy, money and my own quality of life in the process. But I just knew I cannot give up on Astro.

The first visit to the animal communicator (who later became my teacher) changed our lives forever. It was then that I discovered how special a being my dog is. Little did I know that a trip to SPCA on 17 Feb 2015 to adopt Astro would open up a world of esoteric experiences that I never would have believed existed otherwise.

Since then I have obtained certifications in various healing modalities such as Linking Awareness, BodyTalk, Pranic Healing and Reiki with the intention to support Astro in his journey and others who, like me had to struggle through a lonely journey where little compassion and understanding were offered in their darkest hours.
As a result of my experience, I strive to hold space for the people I cross paths with; support and empower them in their healing journey and be the bearer of light in the soul-crushing darkness.
